It's Turkey Time!

In the United States, Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday in November.

Many Americans eat special food like turkey and pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.

The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 by a group of pilgrims and Native Americans.
They were thankful for a bountiful harvest.

Things were a lot different back then than they are now.  Follow the hotspots to learn more.

Wow!  What a cool date!

Well, that cool date is actually a holiday.
Friday, November 11th is Veteran's Day.

Veterans are people who have been in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines.
These special people help keep our country safe and free.
